Teen Advisory Board
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meets every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. All teens in grades 7-12 welcome!

Author Visit - Mike Mullin, author of Ashfall - February 23 6:30-7:30 pm
Join us for an evening with Mike Mullin, author of Ashfall - winner of National Public Radio's Top Five YA Novels of 2011- described as "a post-apocalyptic tale that combines reality with the stuff of nightmares, crawls under your skin, and forces you to question your own courage and survival instincts."
Join Mr. Mullin in reading a selection from Ashfall, discussing the geology of supervolcanoes, and treating the crowd to a live Taekwondo demonstration! Copies of Ashfall will be available for purchase - and the author will sign them for you. This event is free and open to everyone - no registration required.
Open Mic Night - March 1 6:30-7:30
It's a teen talent showcase! Share music, poetry, magic, or be a part of the audience - it's open mic night and you just might want to join in! Open to all teens in grades 7-12.
CLUE! - March 8 6:30-7:30 pm
Looking for a challenge? Follow the picture clues and discover some architectural surprises in your library! You'll be amazed at what you find! Open to all teens in grades 7-12.

We need your input! Help us plan upcoming teen events and do a few "odd jobs" for the library! Open to all teens in grades 7-12.
Silent Library - March 29 6:30-7:30 pm
Let's get moving at the library! With Silent Library, the challenge is to complete fun activities without screaming, laughing or even saying one word! Can you be led blindfolded through the library without speaking? Get wrapped up like a mummy without laughing? Stop by and give it a try! Open to all teens in grades 7-12.
